Flora and Tyler: Top Ten in the 2011 Pan Ams

Bermudian elite triathletes Flora Duffy and Tyler Butterfield each achieved top ten finishes in the XVIth Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico 0n 23 October 2011. Flora finished 8th in the Women’s Triathlon, while Tyler finished 6th in the Men’s race.

Flora clocked an overall time of 2:03:38. She was sixth out of the Water in a time of 20:08, then completed the Bike Course in a time of 1:03:42 and the Run Course clocking 39:02.

Tyler recorded the twenty-ninth fastest Swim time of 19:29. He then made his way up the field with the fourth fastest Bike ride of 56:44 and the fifth fastest Run time of 33:03. He crossed the finish line in an overall time of 1:50:03.
