    TOKIO MILLENNIUM TRI

posted Jul 2, 2012, 7:07 PM by Alan Gilbertson ‎[BTA]‎
Well done to all involved with the Tokio Millennium Triathlon, held in great conditions on Sunday 10 June at Albuoys Point. The event was superbly organised and extremely well attended.

Particular thanks to our sponsors Tokio Millennium, without whom the event could not have been such a huge success.

In the senior individual event, Bermuda's Olympian Tyler Butterfield came home first in 56:15, over five minutes ahead of the field. Kristyn Robinson was the first lady home, in 1:07:38. Kristyn was in seventh place overall.

You can find the full results for the senior event and for the various age group and junior permutations on www.bermudatiming.bm.

NEW: For great coverage of the event visit Bernews.com here and IslandStats.com here. The coverage includes some great video footage and interviews of winners Tyler (who is very clearly hugely appreciative of Tokio for their invaluable sponsorship of him over the years) and Kristyn.
